Thursday, June 4th
Spring Fling May 28th - June 1st for me.
Today: Worked on daylily bed. Weeds were getting too comfortable. Hit garage wall rocks with RoundUp, also edges of bed. Cut back GCP. Those poor GC Muhly are struggling. They were too root bound to buy, really. I dug them up, washed roots off & cut off matted parts. I replanted several closer to the trellis, where I piled the old mulch to make a raised bed area.
I'm thinking I'll put a path in between the trellis and the daylilies in that bed. Make the back area more raised, get some rock for edging.
Unseasonally cooler & drier air today! What a treat!!!!!!!!!!!!
